in this question concept of splitting middle term is used

in it we have to take factor of 3rd term here  it is 54  we harve to take factor till thier factors sum or substraction came -15

(SIGN IS VERY IMPORTANT)

-15 is splitted into -9 and -6

(means 9*6=54)

-9-6 is take bcuz we want -15 (-ve add to -ve = ans is -ve)

now we get

x²-9x-6x+54=0

now take commom

x(x-9)-6(x-9)=0

commom means takin out a term which is on both no. or term

(x-6)(x-9)

now take the value of x

x-6 = 0         &       x-9=0                                  

x=6             &       x=9
