Given equation is

We have to make the factors of $(-143x^2)$

                    ⇒ $x^2+2x-143=0$

                    ⇒ $x^2+13x- 11x - 143=0$

Taking out common term

             ⇒ $x(x+13) - 11(x + 13)=0$

             ⇒  $(x+13) (x - 11)=0$

If                 ⇒   $(x+13) =0$

                 ⇒    $x = -13$

Or

                  ⇒  $(x - 11) = 0$

                  ⇒   $x = 11$

Thus, The vale of $x$ is $11 and (-13)$
