Solution -

Q. x² - 2x + 5x - 10

= x(x - 2) + 5(x - 2)

= (x - 2) (x + 5)

Answer : (x - 2) (x + 5)

Explaination -

Here, at first, we need to pair the numbers in two

Then, we need to take out the common factors between the two numbers in the pairs

After that, take (x - 2) as common and x and (+ 5) is left, so we will attach them and (x + 5) is formed

∴ (x - 2) (x + 5) is the required answer
