Given :-

  • (x² - 2xy + y²) - z²

Solution :-

→ (x² - 2xy + y²) - z²

  • Apply identity
  • (a - b)² = a² + b² - 2ab

→ [(x)² - 2 × x × y + (y)²] - z²

→ (x - y)² - z²

  • Again apply identity
  • a² - b² = (a + b)(a - b)

Here

  • (x - y) = a
  • z = b

According to question

→ (x - y + z)(x - y - z)

Hence,

  • Value after factorising (x - y + z)(x - y - z)
