Step-by-step explanation:

by comparing ax^2+bx+c

a = 1

b = -3

c = 2

D = b^2-4ac

= (-3)^2-4(1)(2)

= 9-8

= 1. ( so it has solutions as D >= 0)

x = -b +-√D/2a

=. 3 +-√1 / 2(1)

first take +-√1 positive and second time as negative

x = 3+1/2

=4/2

= 2

x = 3-1/2

=2/2

= 1

so ans is 2,1

hope this will help you....

Step-by-step explanation:

the quadratic formula is -b+- underroot of b²-4ac/2a

a= 1...coefficient of x²

b= -3

c= 2

first finding the value of b²-4ac

(-3)²-4(1)(2) =>< 0

9 - 8 =>< 0

1>0 ......thus the equation will have two different roots

putting values in the formula

first root → -(-3) + underroot 1/ 2(1)

second root → -(-3) - underroot 1 / 2(1)
