Answer:

Factoring x2-3x+36

The first term is, x2 its coefficient is 1 .

The middle term is, -3x its coefficient is -3 .

The last term, "the constant", is +36

Step-1 : Multiply the coefficient of the first term by the constant 1 • 36 = 36

Step-2 : Find two factors of 36 whose sum equals the coefficient of the middle term, which is -3 .

-36 + -1 = -37

-18 + -2 = -20

-12 + -3 = -15

-9 + -4 = -13

-6 + -6 = -12

-4 + -9 = -13

For tidiness, printing of 12 lines which failed to find two such factors, was suppressed

see this ques is not laiable if it is from quadratic chapter and the and will be automatically null but if you see this in form of algebra then theres an answer

x2+3x+36=0

x2+3x=-36

x2+x=-36/3=-12

x2+x=-12

x+x=2underroot-3

x=underroot-3
