Given,

 x^{2}  + 3x +9 = 0  \\ \\ comparing \ with \ ax^{2} + bx  + c = 0 <br />\\ \\ We \ get, \  \\ \\ a = 1 \\ \\ b = 3 \\ \\ c = 9 \\ \\  So, \\ \\ x = \frac{-b\frac{+}{}\sqrt{b^{2}- 4ac}}{2a} \\ \\ x =  \frac{-3\frac{+}{}\sqrt{3^{2}- 4*1*9}}{2*1} \\ \\ x = \frac{-3\frac{+}{}\sqrt{9-36}}{2} \\ \\ x = \frac{-3\frac{+}{}\sqrt{-27}}{2} \\ \\ x = \frac{-3\frac{+}{}3\sqrt{3}\ i}{2} \ Ans.
