GIVEn

x² - 4√2x + 6 = 0

Solve it

SOLUTIOn

→ x² - 4√2x + 6 = 0

Splitting middle term

→ x² - √3x - 2√3x + 6 = 0

→ x(x - √3) - 2√3(x - √3) = 0

→ (x - √3)(x - 2√3) = 0

Either,

→ (x - √3) = 0

→ x = √3

Or,

(x - 2√3) = 0

→ x = 2√3

Hence, 3 and 23 are the zeros of given polynomial
