Given :

Equation ,  x^{2} - 46 + 17 ÷ 2

To find :

The value of equation if x = 7

Solution :

Simplifying the equation we get ,

                                     = x^{2} - 46 + \frac{17}{2}

Now , applying BODMAS rule , and substituting x = 7 we get,

                                     = (7)^{2} - 46 + \frac{17}{2}

                                     = 49 - 46 + 8.5

                                     = 49 - 37.5

                                     = 11.5

Final answer :

Hence , the value of  " x^{2} - 46 + \frac{17}{2}" at x = 7 is 11.5 .
