Solve the following quadratic equations for x and give your answer correct to 2 decimal places :

Here a =1 , b =-4 , c=-10

=> x =-b±√b^2-4ac/2a

=>x = 4±√(-4)^2-4×1×-10/2

=>x =4±√16+40/2

=>x =4±√56/2.

=>x = 4±2√14/2

=>x =4+2√14/2 , 4-2√14/2.

=>x =2+√14,2-√14

=> x =2+3.74,2-3.74

.°. x = 5.74 , -0.74.
