Heya!!!

Answer to your question:
 {x}^{2}  - 6x + 4 = 0
Add and subtract (6/2)^2,
 {x}^{2}  - 6x +  {3}^{2}  -  {3}^{2}  + 4 = 0
 {(x - 3)}^{2}   - 9 + 4 = 0
 {(x - 3)}^{2}  - 5 = 0
 {(x - 3)}^{2}  -  { \sqrt{5} }^{2}  = 0
(x - 3 +  \sqrt{5} )(x - 3 -  \sqrt{5}) = 0
x = 3 -  \sqrt{5}
x = 3 +  \sqrt{5}
Hope it helps ^_^

X^2-6x=-4
X^2-6x+3^2=-4+3^2
(X-3)^2=5
X=3+root5
X=3-root5
