we do it by middle term factorisation method
we have to find such factors of 20 that add to 9
so the two numbers are 4 and 5
so
x²+9x+20=x²+4x+5x+20=0
=>x(x+4)+5(x+4)=(x+4)(x+5)=0
thus by zero product rule
x=-4 or x=-5
