x²+x-12

This equation can be written as- ax2+bx+c=0

You have to find two numbers which are multiple of 12 or ‘axXc’.

They can be- 1x12,2x6,3x4 and vice-versa.

you have to find two same numbers which can give you ‘bx’ or’x’ by adding/subtracting them.

x2+4x−3x−12=0

x(x+4)−3(x+4)=0

(x−3)(x+4)=0

x=3andx=−4

hence asnwer is x=3 and -4
