x²(x + 2) – 3x (x² – 3) – 5x(x + 5)

= x³ + 2x² - 3x³ + 9x - 5x² - 25x

[ add & subtract like terms ]

= x³ - 3x³ - 5x² + 2x² - 25x + 9x
