Answer:

we have the given expression as;

x^2 + x - 90

we need to factorise it.

let's use middle term splitting.

now,

=> x^2+x-90

=> x^2+10x-9x-90

=> x(x+10)-9(x+10)

=> (x+10)(x-9)

thus ,it's factorised.

thank you.

I hope it would help you.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

by using quadratic formula

d= b2-4ac

d=1+360

d=361

  • √d=√361
  • =19

x=-b+√d/2a

x=-1+19/2

18/2=9

x=-1-19/2

-20/2=-10

hope it helps

it is according to quadratic formula of class 10

you can also solve by splitting the middle term by using value of both x  9 and -10
