Hi ,

x² y² - 12xy - 45

= x² y² - 15xy + 3 xy - 45

= xy ( xy - 15 ) + 3 ( xy - 15 )

= ( xy - 15 )( xy + 3 )

I hope this helps you.

x2y2-12xy-45=x2y2-15xy+3xy-45

=xy(xy-15)+3(xy-15)

=(xy+3) (xy-15)

x2 y2 stands for x ka square and y ka square
