HERE IS UR ANSWER DEAR,

let x=1

p(1)= (1)³-2(1)²-7(1)+12

= 1-2-7+12

= 13-9

= 4

which is not equal to zero

let x= -1

p(-1)= (-1)³-2(-1)²-7(-1)+12

= -1 -2+7+12

= 19 -3

= 16

which is not equal to 0

let x= 2

p(2)= (2)³-2(2)²-7(2)+12

= 8-8 -14 +12

= -2

which is not equal to 0

let x= -2

p(-2)= (-2)³-2(-2)²-7(-2)+12

= -8 -8 +14+12

= -16 +16

= 0

therefore ,

-2 is the zero of the polynomial

x+2 is the factor of this p(x)
