2x=1
 x = \frac{1}{2}

Therefore

 ( { \frac{1}{2} })^{3} - 6( { \frac{1}{2} })^{2} - 14 \frac{1}{2} + 3

 \frac{1}{9} - 6( \frac{1}{4} ) - 14 (\frac{1}{2}) + 3

 \frac{1}{9} - ( \frac{3}{2} ) - 7 + 3

Ans is -47/9
