Organisms need to take food for their living .
Insectivorous plant are those plants which eat insects. Eg pitcher plant , sundews
3- A pitcher plant attracts insects towards it by secreating attracting smell. When the insect gets trapped then the pitcher plant closes its lid and then starts secreating digestive juices on it.
4- Total parasites- which totally depend on other plants for their food , water and nutrition. Example- Dodder
* Partial parasites- Which partially depend on other plants for some nutrition and water. Example - Mistletoe
5- Photosynthesis is the process by which plants make their food using water, sunlight , carbon dioxide and chlorophyll . It is important for plants because they need food to respire and grow. ( and those fruits and vegetables we get are also the food prepare by plants during photosynthesis).
