35. Years ago, people woke up to find sparrows chirping in their backyard. A noisy lot, th
took grains right from your hand if you had befriended them. They got over their fea
easily and demanded food or water with their loud chirping if you had forgotten to give
them their regular share of food. Tiny pink beaks opened to morsels of food or worms
sometimes regurgitated by the parent birds. We had a splendid time watching the bird
family bond and as children sat gazing at them as they picked up grain or splashed about
us in muddy water.

1) Sparrows take grains from human's hand if we are befriended them.
So,we can say that sparrows are friendly birds.
2)As from the authors point of view,the sparrows are atype of birds with pink beaks who demands his share of food from that particular person who is friendful to him.
And if someone has forgotten to give the bird his regular share of food,they demands it with loud chirping; like little kids demanding for food.
So this is what that gives fun to the author.
