Most of Egypt has the tropical desert type of climate. Thus, it is warm and Sunny without much rain throughout the year. The northern part of the country along the coast has a Mediterranean type of climate. Here the summers are hot and dry but winters ah cool with some rainfall. During spring and early summer, hot,dry,sand-laden wind called khamsin blows across Egypt from Sahara. It dries up the leaves of plant.

Hope it helps you.
