Explanation:

Dust particles were at rest on the carpet. However when you beat the carpet, you are forcing the dust to move along with thecarpet. Due to the dust having inertia, it doesn't move, or rather, it resists motion. This is why dust comes out of a carpet when it is beaten with a stick.

b) A luggage is usually tied with a rope on theroof of buses. When a moving bussuddenly stops, the luggage on its rooftends to continue in the state of motion due to inertia of motion. ... Thus, to avoid the falling of the luggage, it is tied with a rope on the roof of a bus.

c) the bowler runs from a long distance before he is throwing a ball towards the batsman. such that he is in high motion. since the ball is in the hands of him, it is also get the same motion and force as much as the bowler. the bowler stops hisrunning at a point suddenly with a great speed.

Answer:

Newtons first law of motion (inertia)

Explanation:

Every body continues to be in its state of rest or of uniform motion along a straight line , unless an external unbalanced force act on it.

Here, dust is in rest and it wish to continue in that motion but the action of a stick will make that dust change the existing state to motion but it continues to be in that state itself.

Luggage are tied because of inertia of motion.

When the bus moves the luggage also moves along with it but when the bus stop the luggage continues in the state of motion and it will move forward. Hence there is a chance for falling of luggage from the bus.

Inorder to attain more speed pace bowler need to run from a long distance
