Do factors of middle term

 {x}^{2}  + 5x - 2x - 10 = 0 \\  \\ x(x + 5) - 2(x + 5) = 0 \\  \\ (x - 2)(x + 5) = 0 \\  \\

Now if multiplication of two terms are zero,i.e.,either

x - 2 = 0 \\  \\ x = 2 \\  \\

or

x + 5 = 0 \\  \\ x =  - 5 \\

Thus zeros of polynomial are 2,-5.
