Hi! here is your answer.

x2 - 5x + 6 = 0

Factorising by separating middle term:-

x2 - 2x - 3x + 6 = 0

x(x-2) - 3(x-2) = 0

(x-2)(x-3) = 0

equating the 2 factors with zero to obtain answer

X - 2 = 0 so X = 2

X - 3 = 0 so X = 3
