Isotopes-

-lsotopes are atoms of the same element having the same atomic number but different mass numbers.

-isotopes of an element having the same atomic number because they contain the same number of protons . lsotopes of an element having different mass numbers because they contain different numbers of neutrons.

-The isotopes of an element differ in the number of neutrons in the nuclei.

lsobars-

-lsobars are the atoms of different elements having different atomic numbers but the same mass number .

-lsobars have different number of protons in the nuclei but the total number of neutrons in them is same.
