Xy and z were dharing profits and losses in the proporation 1/2,1/5,3/10 respectively Y retires calculate the new ratio and X andZ.

➖ Solution :

As we know,

 x \: = \frac{1}{2}

y \ = \: \frac{1}{5}

and,

z = \: \frac{3}{10}
so,

x:y:z will be 5:2:3

Now,

Y retires, who was the owner of
 \frac{2}{10} \: \: shares
Hence, the remaining shares means
 \frac{8}{10} \: \: shares \: will \: be \: distributed \: among \: x \: and \: z

So, the new profit sharing ratio of x and z will be

x = \: \frac{5}{8}
and,
z = \: \frac{3}{8}

Ratio will be,

x:z = 5:3
