y^2+(-)X +56 = (y + 7)(y+-)

( It missing term be = a)

y^2 + (a)x + 56 = y^2 + (a)y + 7y +7a
y^2 + ax + 56 = y^2 + y (a+7) +7a

By identify we get.

7a = 56
a = 56/7
a= 8

So, a=8 is the right answer.
