 {y}^{2}  +  \frac{y}{2}  - 3 = 0 \\ 2 {y}^{2}  + y - 3 = 0 \\ 2 {y}^{2}  - 2y + 3y - 3 = 0 \\ 2y(y - 1) + 3(y - 1) = 0 \\ (y - 1)(2y + 3) = 0

So, Value of y are 1 or -3/2

hope it will help u☺️

Answer:

-2 and 3/2

step to step explanation:

y^2 + y/2-3 =0

2y^2 + y - 6 =0

2y^2 +4y -3y - 6 = 0

2y ( y + 2 ) - 3 ( y + 2) = 0

(y + 2) ( 2y - 3) = 0

so,

y = -2

y = 3 /2

hope this helps you. mark me brainlist
