2x+5y=8/3...(1),

3x−2y=5/6...(2).

Let us use elimination method to solve the given system of equation.

Multiply (1) by 4 and (2) by 5. And add both the equations.

Adding we get

114x=57

24x+60y=3290x−60y=25

x=1/2

Substitute the value of x in equation (1), we have

2(1/2)+5y=8/3

y=1/3

Answer : x=1/2 and y=1/3
