y2 - y -6 ,

factorise it by spiliting the middle term ,

y2 -3y +2y-6

= y (y-3) + 2(y-3),

=(y-3)(y+2) Answer.

by middle term factorisation we will multiplu 2 with 6

therefore,2y-(4-3)y-6

2y-4y+3y-6

2y(1-2)+3(y-2)
