Ans y - 2x = 3 and 2y - px = 3

a1 = -2 a2 = -p

b1 = 1 b2 = 2

c1 = 3 c2 = 3

As lines are Parallel ⇒ Slopes are equal

 \frac{ - b1}{a1}  =  \frac{ - b2}{a2}

 \frac{ - 1}{ - 2}  =  \frac{ - 2}{ - p}

p = 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Ans y - 2x = 3 and 2y - px = 3

a1 = -2 a2 = -p

b1 = 1 b2 = 2

c1 = 3 c2 = 3

As lines are Parallel ⇒ Slopes are equal

\frac{ - b1}{a1} = \frac{ - b2}{a2}a1−b1=a2−b2

\frac{ - 1}{ - 2} = \frac{ - 2}{ - p}−2−1=−p−2

p = 4p=4
