4y + 6(5 - 2x) = 6

42 - 12x = 6

12x = 36

x = 3

\large\bf{{\underline{To~solve}}:}

\tt{~~~~~~~~~~~4y+6(5-2x)=6~~~when~~~y=3}

\tt{:\implies 4(3)+6(5-2x)=6}

\tt{:\implies 12+6(5-2x)=6}

\tt{:\implies 12+30-12x=6}

\tt{:\implies 42-12x=6}

\tt{:\implies -12x=6-42}

\tt{:\implies -12x=-36}

\tt{:\implies 12x=36}

\tt{:\implies x={\dfrac{36}{12}}}

\tt{:\implies x={\colorbox{orange}{\color{black}{\bf 3}}}}
