 \frac{y}{4}  +  \frac{y}{16} =  \frac{250}{y}

 \frac{4y + y}{16}  =  \frac{250}{y}

Cross multiply=}

y(4y + y) = 16  \times 250

4 {y}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  = 4000

5 {y}^{2}  = 4000

 {y}^{2}  =  \frac{4000}{5}

 {y}^{2}  = 800

y =  \sqrt{800}

y =  \sqrt{40 \times 40}

y = 40

•5y/16=>250/y

•5y×y=>250×16

•5y^2= 4000

•y^2=>800

•y=>✓800
