i) Given,

ii) Rearranging the above equation we can write y = (m/2)x + 1/2

iii) Comparing the above equation with the standard form of equation y= slope*x + C where C is the Y-intercept

iv) According to the question :

slope = 6

m/2 = 6

m = 12

And Y-intercept = C = 1/2
