When Calphurnia asks Caesar not to go outside as she feared her dreams and the omens which nature was giving. She wanted Caesar to stay at home that day. Caesar, on the other hand, didn't want to stay at his home like a coward. He was very rational and didn't believe in the omens. He was of the opinion that such omens are not specifically subjected to him rather it is meant for the whole world in general. Also, he says that what the Gods had planned would obviously happen.
