Y CANT WE PLACE A PLANE MIROR IN THE PLACE OF CONVEX MIROR IN THE CAR??

because convex mirror is a diverging mirror
and it shows the whole image of the traffic behind the driver
but whereas the plane mirror has a magnification 1 it shows only the traffic behind the mirror
