TWINKLING OF STAR IS DUE TO THE CHANGE IN REFRACTIVE INDEX OF ATMOSPHERE. AS THE REFRACTIVE INDEX CHANGES CONSTANTLY THE LIGHT TRAVEL CHANGES HENCE IT APPEARS TO BE IN DIFFERENT COLORS
