Y do we remove weeds before they start flowering??

because if the start flowering then they would grow in larger no and affect the growth of crops.

because weeds are the unwanted plants which grows with the original main crop which we are cultivating
weeds compete with the main crop for water and nutrients
and its important to remove weeds before they start flowering to prevent seeds to form and reseeding
