given function , y=log_{10}(x^2+1)

differentiate with respect to x,

\frac{dy}{dx}=\frac{d\{log_{10}(x^2+1)\}}{dx}

=log_{10}e\frac{d\{log_e(x^2+1)\}}{dx}

=log_{10}e\frac{1}{x^2+1}\frac{d\{x^2+1\}}{dx}

=log_{10}e\frac{1}{x^2+1}(2x)

=\frac{2xlog_{10}e}{x^2+1}

hence, \frac{dy}{dx}=\frac{2xlog_{10}e}{x^2+1}
