Correct Question:-

Calculate simple interest on 20,000 for 3 years at 6% rate of interest.

Solution:-

Given:

Principal = 20,000

Time = 3 years

Rate of interest = 6%

To Find:

Simple interest

Formula:

S.I. = \dfrac{P\times R\times T}{100}

Now:

S.I. = \dfrac{20000\times 6\times 3}{100}

= 200\times 6\times 3

= 1200\times 3

= 3600

Required Answer:-

S.I. = 3600

Some More Formulas:-

• A = P + I

• R = \dfrac{I\times 100}{P\times T}

• P = \dfrac{I\times 100}{R\times T}

• T = \dfrac{I\times 100}{P\times R}

• C.I. = P(1+\dfrac{R}{100})^{n}-P

Principal = 20000

Rate % = 6%

Time = 3year

Simple interest from the given Principal,rate and time.

★\: S.I \:  =  \frac{P \times R \times T}{100}

Here ↗, P = principal, R = rate% and T = time

{\underline{\underline{\rm{Solution:-}}}}

using formula of S.I ➝

S.I =  \frac{20000 \times 6 \times 3}{100}  \\  \\  S.I =  200 \times 6 \times 3 \\  =  > 1200 \times 3 \\  =  > 3600rs

Hence, Simple interest on the given Principal, rate and time is rs 3600
