The “fovea palatinae” are two ducts at the junction of the hard and soft palate close to the midline that are a confluence of many smaller ducts that come from tiny mucous glands in that area of the palate. Perfectly normal. There should be two holes in the upper side wall of the pharynx just behind the nose.
