Packaged milk is always pasteurized.
We boil milk because we feel that the milk is raw and not purer and to kill the germs we should heat it again.
Boiling not only kills the germs , but sometimes it also destroys the nutrients present in it .Boiling milk , decreases the chance of getting milk borne diseases.
I , Deepika , have been consuming milk only after boiling it.
So milk should be boiled before drinking.

Pasteurization was invented by a French Scientist called Louis Pasteur during the nineteenth century. Pasteur discovered that heating milk to a high temperature and then quickly cooling it before bottling or packaging it could keep it fresh for longer.
In pasteurization, milk is first heated to about 70 degrees Celsius for 15 to 30 seconds. Then it is suddenly chilled and stored. This prevents the growth of microbes. Pasteurization deactivates the microbes and reduces the enzyme activity by reduction of temperature
