Step-by-step explanation:

firstly we would divide y with y to get y square then in quotient we have y we will divide it with -4 in the divident so we get -4 y ....then change the signs of both the values y suare will become -y square and -4 y wil become 4 y...now cut ysquare and - y suare because of opposite signs and solve -9y +4y we get -5y and 20 comes down as it is...niw we have -5y+20 so now we will have to divide y with -5 in order to get the first value -5y....we got and now multiply -5 in the quotient with -4 in the divident we get +20 now change the signs of both the values and we see that both values are same and with opposite signs so we will cut both and at the end we got 0 as remainder.......thank you
