The set is infinite as there are infinitely many straight lines that can pass through a given point. Set builder form: [tex] L=\{(y-y_1)=m(x-x_1):m\in R\}\\ [/tex] Roster form, [tex] L=\{(y-y_1)=5(x-x_1),(y-y_1)=\pi(x-x_1).....\} [/tex]

SRPRAYER: but you write little and use elipsis or etc symbol "..."
sincosec1: Is it said in the question, that represent it in roster form?
SRPRAYER: yes
SRPRAYER: represent in roster using elipsis
sincosec1: Then just put any value of m in this equation seperate by commas, and use elipsis.
SRPRAYER: like {1,2,3,4,5,6,...}
sincosec1: no
SRPRAYER: then how
sincosec1: Now see it.
SRPRAYER: thanks
