y is directly propotional to x-3 to the whole square then y=k(x-3)²

at y=16 and x=1
we get value of k is -8
hence by put value of k we get
y=-8(10-3)
we get value of y is -56

muhannadsharji: Why do you need to remove it
muhannadsharji: Im sorry i still dont get it
muhannadsharji: How did u get the value of k
muhannadsharji: Aha thanks that really helped

Answer: 196

Step-by-step explanation: y is directly propotional to (x-3)^2

y ∝ (x-3)^2

y = k(x-3)^2

16 = k(1-3)^2

After caculating you should get this

4k = 16

And the answer for K will be 4

then we will put the value of K in the equation y = k(x-3)^2 with x=10

y = 4(10-3)^2

y = 4(7)^2

y = 4(49)

y = 196

The final answer is y = 196
