Given equations,

-x+y=-2\\x-2y=4

Now,\\-x+y = -2\\y = x-2

Substituting the value of y in the second equation, we get,

x - 2(x-2) = 4\\x-2x+4=4\\x-2x=0\\x=0

=> y = -2

∴ x = 0 and y = -2
