A Brahmin who was the worshipper of the Fire god ( Lord Agni ) while entering into the forest visits an devotee and He requests an goat from him. On one occasion he was awarded by an goat.The Brahmin was very happy by the award and he carried goat on his shoulders. On the way, three cheats saw the Brahmin taking the goat. They wanted to cheat the Brahmin so that they could take away the goat. They devised the plan among themselves and decided to trick the brahmin. The first crook stood in the Brahmin' s path and asked " Why are you carrying an dog over your shoulder?" The Brahmin spelled at him that its not an dog ! Its an goat and I'm carrying a sacrificial goat over my shoulder. The Brahmin walked over some distance while the second crook started his work. The second crook asked the Brahmin that how can he carry that dead calf over his shoulders. The brahmin got angry and just moved on further. At the path he found an another person asking him" why do you carry an donkey over your shoulders?" The brahmin got confused and thought that it may be some ghost or an dog or an donkey and he left the sacrificial goat over there. He got afraid and ran away terribly towards his home.The three crooks were succeeded by their master plan and got the goat.
Moral :- Think before you act !
The Brahmin should have believed him first rather than hearing others words.
