Y² + 2√3y – 9=0.solve the following quadratic equation by factorisation​

Answer:

y²+2√3y-9=0

or, y²+2.y.√3+3-12=0

or, (y+√3)²-12=0

or, (y-√3)²=12

or, y-√3 =±√12=±2√3

or, y= √3±2√3

or, y = 3√3 , -√3

Easy method :-
y^2 + 3root3 y - root3 y - 9 = 0
y(y + 3root3) - root3 (y + 3root3) = 0
(y + 3root3) (y - root3) = 0
y = -3root3 & root3

Sorry i don’t have advanced calculator so i used spellings instead of symbols
