HEYA MATE, HERE IS UR ANSWER ___________________________

Y^3+1/8Y^3
=(y)^3+(1/2y)^3

Using identity a^3 +b^3 =( a+b)(a^2-ab+b^2)

=(y+1/2y){y^2-y×1/2y+(1/2y)^2}
=(2y^2+1/2y)(y^2-1/2+1/4y^2)

y³+1/8y³

=(y)³+(1/2y)³

using identity a³+b³= (a + b)(a² - ab + b²)

a=y  b=1/2y

(y)³+(1/2y)³=(y+1/2y)(y²-y²/2+1/4y²)

=(3y/2)(3y²/4)

=9y³/8
