Yamuna enters Haryana from the districts of Yamunanagar, near the Kalesar forest.


Yamuna river forms the eastern boundary of Haryana with Uttar Pradesh.  It flows south along the districts of Yamunanagar, Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat, and exits Haryana near Hasanpur in district Faridabad.
